Meet Ajua
Senior Consultant, Partnerships
Ajua Kouadio is a passionate advocate, educator, researcher, and consummate optimist. She has over 20 years of nonprofit experience teaching, organizing, and managing initiatives at cause-driven organizations and has lent her talents to everything from the Black Lives Matter movement to labor rights. Ajua’s extensive experience in programming, fundraising, communications, and event planning has allowed her to engage with stakeholders from grassroots organizers to Capitol Hill, and she is thrilled to bring these gifts to Connection Point.
Ajua earned her Bachelor’s Degree in African-American Studies from Syracuse University and holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Education from Columbia University. She is currently completing her Doctorate at Rutgers University. Ajua is a lifetime member of the Brooklyn NAACP and Girl Scouts of the USA and currently serves on the board of the Institute for Anti-Racist Education.
