Communications Specialist

Erica Ceballos is a communications professional specializing in trauma-informed, educational, and grassroots storytelling. She has expertise in crafting communications strategies and content for NGOs, nonprofits, entertainment management companies, and professional membership organizations. Erica is adept at building strategic collaborations that connect with diverse communities and advance advocacy efforts. Her passion lies at the intersection of community, culture, and communication, where she works to drive meaningful social change.

Erica has served on the communications team at the United Nations, where she produced content on inclusive social development issues, coordinated NGO participation in annual UN commissions, and collaborated with athletes and sports ambassadors for the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. Before joining the UN, she supported advocacy efforts for the International Rescue Committee and led communications strategy at local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Erica is deeply committed to amplifying marginalized voices and advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunity. Her work has earned features and collaborations with ABC News, California State Senators, the Special Olympics, Disneyland Resort, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and more.

Erica holds a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs from NYU, where she focused on Human Rights and International Law, and a BA in Media Management from Cal State University, Northridge.
