Ricardo Chavira is a seasoned marketing, communications, and fundraising executive with over 20 years of experience leading brand strategy, donor engagement, and multi-channel MarCom campaigns. He has successfully designed and executed high-impact initiatives that drive revenue growth, mobilize audiences, and build strong institutional reputations. His expertise spans integrated marketing, public affairs, and advocacy communications, with a focus on advancing mission-driven organizations in non-profit, social justice, and public policy reform.

Most recently, Ricardo served as Senior Director of Corporate Marketing & Engagement at Bixal, where he led marketing and communications initiatives that increased brand visibility, strengthened stakeholder engagement, and positioned the organization as a thought leader in the public sector. He spearheaded an organizational brand update based on targeted audience research, developed data-driven storytelling strategies, and led government engagement efforts, helping to drive measurable impact.

Prior to Bixal, Ricardo held leadership roles at the Center for Policing Equity, the Gary Sinise Foundation, and LAEDC, where he directed fundraising communications, donor engagement, and mission-driven brand strategy. He has successfully secured major grant funding, led rapid-response media efforts, and built high-performing MarCom and development teams, ensuring alignment between brand positioning and revenue growth.

A Notre Dame graduate, Ricardo is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about leveraging marketing, storytelling, and data-driven insights to enhance fundraising, build brand affinity, and drive strategic impact. His ability to craft mission-aligned messaging, engage diverse stakeholders, and execute results-driven campaigns has made him a trusted leader in nonprofit, government, and public affairs marketing and communications.
